Joann Lee is a Hong Kong–born artist now based in Warrington, UK. With a background in visual arts, journalism, and a decade-long career in creative advertising and marketing, her journey into full-time art began after relocating to the UK in 2021.

Working primarily in watercolour and marker—alongside oil pastel and acrylic—Joann creates expressive, story-rich pieces that draw from memory, motherhood, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Her studio is both a sanctuary for creation and a space for sharing, where she teaches art classes rooted in emotion, intuition, and joy.

Beyond her studio practice, Joann is an active and engaged presence in her local community. She leads art projects and children’s workshops in nearby schools, explores digital art as an extension of her visual language, and regularly participates in maker markets to connect with the public.
